We have thousands of women in the military and law enforcement that defend and protect use with those “death machines” called guns….it’s called training and we can all do it and educate and train them young, male or female. The problem is with kids that don’t grow up around guns and hunting families, that people might classify as rednecks,and learn to respect but not be scared of firearms, all kids are curious so it’s our responsibility to teach them the dangers and the responsibilities of using firearms for either hunting or self protection.
