I have always had a gun and raised 4 kids…I always felt that I needed it to protect them and myself. Anyone that is against guns, hope they never need one, because it is going to take time for the police to get to where you are and then it will be to late.
What about the women and children that are held captive and raped for years? Rape fucks you up for the rest of your life. Not to mention STDs that might kill you and the life altering PTSD that comes with it. Plus I have daughters. From a guys pov, rape lasts a lifetime and effects the significant other in the victims life as well, and not only at the time, but for all future significant others who come along. Its a price that is paid over and over.
