Once again the question as to whether Ted Cruz has a constitutional right to run for President of the United States is in the news. Donald Trump, who strongly pursued the argument that Obama was not an American citizen and therefore could not be President, is now stating a similar argument about Cruz.
On Twitter yesterday, Trump tweeted, “If Ted Cruz doesn’t clean up his act, stop cheating and doing negative ads, (I’ll) sue him for not being a natural born citizen.” He also tweeted, “Do Americans really want a Canadian born president? First non-native born in history?”, as well as “…natural born means born on American soil.”
Trump may not have to file suit as one has already been filed by five Cullman County, Alabama voters who are seeking a judgement stating that Ted Cruz is not eligible to run for President of the United States. They believe there is enough evidence that Cruz is a Canadian citizen and therefore not an American citizen.

He should not have relinquished his Canadian citizenship. He might want to return there after failing to sell himself as a tool of the Washington Power Elite.
cruz cannot be president simply because of his dual citizenship..
I know this is a debate that’s went on for yrs and no one has every tried the case because no one truly knows what the FF meant by natural born citizen.

Cruz was a citizen at birth because his mother is a citizen. He didn’t have to apply for it. Therefore, natural born. The Constitution doesn’t say “born on American soil”.
Arnold’s parents were Austrian. Cruz’s mom is American.. Huge difference

Parent that was American and they were raised under the communist rule and believed it and decided to come to America and decided to run for POTUS, there should be no reason they shouldn’t be able too even tho their alliance is to communist China. I don’t know about you but I’m not constitutional scholar but I think that’s what the FF wanted to prevent when they said NBC and not just citizen.
Obama was born in Kenya and from what I read..DNA proves that the woman he claims as mother wasn’t.
