Once again the question as to whether Ted Cruz has a constitutional right to run for President of the United States is in the news. Donald Trump, who strongly pursued the argument that Obama was not an American citizen and therefore could not be President, is now stating a similar argument about Cruz.
On Twitter yesterday, Trump tweeted, “If Ted Cruz doesn’t clean up his act, stop cheating and doing negative ads, (I’ll) sue him for not being a natural born citizen.” He also tweeted, “Do Americans really want a Canadian born president? First non-native born in history?”, as well as “…natural born means born on American soil.”
Trump may not have to file suit as one has already been filed by five Cullman County, Alabama voters who are seeking a judgement stating that Ted Cruz is not eligible to run for President of the United States. They believe there is enough evidence that Cruz is a Canadian citizen and therefore not an American citizen.

Heres the deal . ..this one little post is incomplete as there have been many other legal cases that expand the meaning of naturalized citizenship. Pages and rulings by the supreme court …if you want to play lawyer..get a degree..pass the bar and see if you can win your case…if Barry Soetoro can be elected to president..anyone can..we still have no clue about him. Beth do not let them shout you down, this shouting done is what gave us zero. I know that Cruz and Rubio are not Natural born as the law requires and I can prove it if I can ever get the attention of anyone that can get me on the witness stand. I know the immigration laws inside out and have had personal experience with that law for my own family. Cruz’s mother’s citizenship merely got him into this country pending the naturalization process. he had to be documented the same as any other alien born person. My daughter was born In Germany in 1970. there are several things that need to be done to exercise the option his mother’s citizenship gave him and they all had to be done in the time frame allotted. Our constitution does not allow dual citizenship for anyone. the naturalization has to occur by a given age and neither Cruz or Rubio did what was required under the laws. The supreme court ruling in the Trinity Decision of 1892 defines the issue of Natural born Status and none of the great brains or legal scholars are touching that ruling. the immigration of 1952 and its amendments are the only valid laws to be considered in this case everything else is being used to confuse the issue. lawyers ignore everything that hurts their case. Tis is not my opinion it is the law. opinions are not law. I know the law. I have been trying for weeks to be heard.

Cruz citizenship is classified as naturalized not natural look it up. And to run you have to be a natural born citizen. No excuses, if you excuse it then you are encouraging more laws being broke. Stick to the laws and we wouldn’t be in this freaking disaster. That simple get over it.

Cruz is naturalized citizen but not a natural born, I think the FF wanted you to be born on American soil by 2 American parents to be natural born citizen, anything else is just a citizen
