Once again the question as to whether Ted Cruz has a constitutional right to run for President of the United States is in the news. Donald Trump, who strongly pursued the argument that Obama was not an American citizen and therefore could not be President, is now stating a similar argument about Cruz.
On Twitter yesterday, Trump tweeted, “If Ted Cruz doesn’t clean up his act, stop cheating and doing negative ads, (I’ll) sue him for not being a natural born citizen.” He also tweeted, “Do Americans really want a Canadian born president? First non-native born in history?”, as well as “…natural born means born on American soil.”
Trump may not have to file suit as one has already been filed by five Cullman County, Alabama voters who are seeking a judgement stating that Ted Cruz is not eligible to run for President of the United States. They believe there is enough evidence that Cruz is a Canadian citizen and therefore not an American citizen.

Well, considering the Founding fathers had to deal with one off their first Presidents not being born of this nation, there was an intent to of bloodline, in that the father would be a citizen. This has been expanded upon as women were provided equal rights. So what their vision was would have had do adapt to some degree regardless die to the Bill of Rights.

The requirement for senator are different from that of president. If your father is not an American citizen by birth or one of your patents is not an ambassador or military deployed overseas at birth, you are not qualified for president. That goes for Rubio also.
Since my Arnold question has brought out the constitutional scholars her is a hypothetical, what if a person was born in America but hated it so they move to China where they embrace the communist beliefs and have a child that’s half Chinese and they raise that child to believe communism and hate America and then the Chinese government decides to raise that kid for the sole purpose of educating him/her to use as a tool to destroy America by teaching them that American cultures are bad and need destroyed so that child grows up wanting
To destroy American and has been given all the tools from China moves to the US and gets citizenship and does what they need to get he education and training to get involved in politics and decides to run for POTUS for the sole purpose of destroying our country from the inside. would everyone be ok with that person running
