Even though Wal-Mart is a colossal money maker, it barely pays it’s workers enough to live comforably, forcing employees to go on food stamps, Medicaid and other social welfare programs.
Wal-Mart pulls in $36 million dollars per hour – being the largest seller of food in the world. Yet, they don’t take care of their employees.
Through your tax dollars you are, in essence, handing a Wal-Mart cashier your money but not even getting so much as an empty bag in return.

A daughter and granddaughter worked for walmart. They were not unhappy. The experience of Walmart, got them better jobs when they moved to another part of the country.

The government doesn’t hand money to Walmart. These people claim that by Walmart (alone, right?) pays their part time employees so little they are forced to get food stamps and welfare etc…. They neglect to mention most other stores pay the same amounts to their part time employees also. This is all just made up bull c**p about Walmart alone from the unions…..and if the unions ever did get into Walmart ..NOTHING would improve and the employees would just end up having union dues taken out of their already minimum wages.

Ok… The title is a lie. Walmart does not receive one penny of welfare money. The author throws around a bunch of figures to try and confuse the issue because their premise is a lie. Walmart EMPLOYEES receive the money… Not Walmart. Now you can argue the semantics of it… But the bottom line is that it is not true. The other glaring issue… These people aren’t forced to work there… And if Walmart did not employ them, they would cost the tax payer EVEN MORE MONEY. the left likes to take snippets and sound bites and confuse reality. If you spend 2 minutes reading through and thinking about any of their points logically then they usually fall apart.
