These
are the 100 possible questions on the USCIS civics test and the correct
answers. You must answer 6 correctly to pass. USCIS will ask you a
maximum of 10 questions. These are taken directly from the official USCIS
study guide. Please note this is an oral test not a written test.
“An
applicant passes the civics test if he or she provides a correct answer
or provides an alternative phrasing of the correct answer for six of
the ten questions.” USCIS.
Please note * If you are 65 years old
or older and have been a legal permanent resident of the United States

If
the question only asks for one answer, answer only one even if the
question has multiple answers. For example “What is one of the longest
rivers in the US?”. Multiple answers are given because there are
multiple answers to the question but as the question states they only
want “one” answer. If they ask you an open ended question like “What
does the Constitution do?” You must give all the answers to that
question in order to get it right. Other questions like,”Who is the Vice
President of the United States?” have three possible answers like
Biden, Joe Biden, and Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. any one of these
answers is acceptable since they are all the same person. Study, study,
study.
