‘Fast & Furious’ Rifle Discovered in ‘El Chapo’ Cache at Time of Arrest

Rifle Used to Support ‘El Chapo’ Operations

This particular weapon was a powerful addition to the arsenal, and was very effective in “El Chapo’s” illegal operations.

A .50-caliber is a massive rifle that can stop a car or, as it was intended, take down a helicopter.

After the raid on Jan. 8 in the city of Los Mochis that killed five of his men and wounded one Mexican marine, officials found a number of weapons inside the house where Guzman was staying, including the rifle, officials said.

Federal law enforcement sources told Fox News that ‘El Chapo’ would put his guardsmen on hilltops to be on guard for Mexican police helicopters that would fly through valleys conducting raids. The sole purpose of the guardsmen would be to shoot down those helicopters, sources said.

This is the third time a weapon from the Fast and Furious program has been found at a high-profile Mexican crime scene.

This is yet another example of the rogue Obama administration going it alone and creating programs and policies that lead to great harm and circumvent the proper controls and agencies that should be involved in such sensitive matters.

The administration has acted arrogantly and illegally in many cases, both to avoid the pesky problem of being told “no” when their plans were outside the scope of their responsibilities and approvals, and it has shown an administration that believed it was above the law and could do whatever they chose without consequences.

In this case, it was true that several people from the Justice Department, the IRS, and other agencies should actually have been sent to jail for their actions, but they in fact suffered no penalty, even a sanction in their upward career mobility. That is one reason that the public has grown so cynical about government, and with very good reason.
