Although one must always be careful when identifying current events as part of end times prophecy, the links between what the Bible says will happen in the earth’s last days and what the EU is proposing are certainly worth examining. Granted, an electronic ID is a big leap from the “Mark of the Beast” described in Scripture, but it’s conceivable that the practice could lead to some form of identification not unlike the infamous “Mark”:
