In recent footage that has now gone viral, a self-proclaimed “moderate” Muslim cleric gives some insight into the true nature of Islam in an interview that appeared on a Norwegian TV show.
When asked about his religion, the Islamic leader is brutally honest about what Islam really teaches about non-Muslims.
“For someone who burns the Koran, the punishment, according to Islam, is death, is that correct?” the host of the show asks.
“If you burn the Koran, which is an insult, then the answer is clearly yes,” the man, Mullah Krekar, answered.
“I know absolutely that he has committed a criminal offense where the punishment is death,” he continued. “The responsibility for carrying out the punishment is on the Ummah, our Muslim brotherhood.”
