EPA Has Been Building a Small Army

From the “Open Books” report:

Among the weapons purchased are guns, body armor, camouflage equipment, unmanned aircraft, amphibious assault ships, radar and night-vision gear and other military-style weaponry and surveillance activities, according to a new report by the watchdog group Open the Books.

“Our report discovered that when theEPA comes knocking they are armed with a thousand lawyers, arrest/criminal data, credit, business and property histories, plus a ‘Special Agent’ with the latest in weaponry and technology…”.

The agency spends nearly $75 million each year for criminal enforcement, including money for a small militia of 200 “special agents” charged with fighting environmental crime.

Congress granted police powers to theEPA in 1988, during the Reagan administration.

For the last decade many patriots have been scrutinized as “crazy, dooms day conspiracy theorists”.  Then a report like this comes to light-and its not a made up report.  The facts and figures are right from the EPA.  The EPA is the least of the governmental bodies one would assume needs “body amour” or weaponized drones.  Putting the reasons behind this type of “small army” this report may shed some light:

The EPA’s military weapons spending is just one example of the agency’s questionable purchases highlighted in the 40-page report.

Open the Books, a nonpartisan and nonprofit group based in Illinois, scanned tens of thousands of the agency’s spending contracts totaling more than $93 billion from 2000 to 2014.

Among the findings were hundreds of millions of dollars on high-end office furnishings, sports equipment and “environmental justice” grants to raise awareness of global warming.

The report also reveals that seven of 10 EPA employees make more than $100,000 a year and more than 12,000 of its 16,000 employees were given bonuses last year despite budget cuts.

Environmental justice” grants to raise awareness of global warming” –this statement says it all.  Global warming activists are ruthless.  If you deny the trumped up so called science behind their crusade, on social media, prepare to be excoriated.  If the EPA is engaged in enforcing the so called science-a University if Chicago grant kept track of those on social media who were “trending” denying climate change.  And Obama said and tweeted after 60 minute interview:

This above tweet was Obama’s response to the Middle East and Putin, during his 60 Minutes interview.  Obama’s most important leadership issue as President today, right now in America is climate change?  Not the economy?  Not the Middle East?  Not even his coveted gun confiscation control?

Well, I guess the EPA does need a small army, and drones.  Semper Fi to all the veterans out there, we will need our veterans and loyal police officers when the EPA comes a calling.

The federal government hard armed their agencies to the teeth. Upwards of 80 non-security related agencies have been militarized. You would have to be a complete idiot to believe that the USDA needs body armor. The stage is set to pull these small armies together into one large body of Brown Shirts.
