Clinton Sealed Fate of Benghazi Team
It is easy to remember that when U.S. Ambassador and three others were murdered in Banghazi, Clinton (and Obama, for that matter) were no where to be found and completely incommunicado. The attack lasted several hours, and it is strange that support was not called in, but later when Clinton was asked about the tragedy, she coldly replied “what difference does it make?” She followed that up with meetings with families of the murdered men and lied directly to them, telling them that the attack was a spontaneous riot caused by an obscure anti-Muslim video on the internet.
But with the release of Monday’s newest batch of emails, we find it is far worse. The email that connected with several other unauthorized associates of Clintons broadcast the whereabouts and plans of U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens. It is widely suspected that her unsecured server was hacked by the Russians, the Chinese, and most likely others, which means that Clinton’s scheme to keep her email out of the government sanctioned system could very well have led directly to Steven’s death.
The email in question was written Sunday, April 10, 2011 by State employee Timmy Davis and sent to the State email addresses of other employees, including Clinton’s then-foreign policy aide, Jacob Sullivan and Clinton’s senior aide.
[Clinton aide Huma] Abedin forwarded the message to Clinton. At the time, Stevens was the U.S. envoy to the Libyan rebels.The dispatch read:
The situation in Ajdabiyah has worsened to the point where Stevens is considering departure from Benghazi. The envoy’s delegation is currently doing a phased checkout (paying the hotel bills, moving some comms to the boat, etc). He will monitor the situation to see if it deteriorates further, but no decision has been made on departure. He will wait 2-3 more hours, then revisit the decision on departure.
The email is one of several giving away Stevens’ location and movements.
An April 24, 2011 email has the exact time of a Stevens meeting: “”Stevens will be meeting with MFA in one hour and will make a written request for better security at the hotel and for better security-related coordination. He still feels comfortable in the hotel. They are looking into the idea of moving into a villa, but that is some way off.”
There are many who believe that Clinton insisted on keeping her email private because of illegal and unethical financial backing of the Clinton Foundation that poured incredible wealth into the pockets of the Clinton couple. But regardless of why Clinton decided to ignore the law and use a private server, it is now clear that her actions likely led to the murder of four American citizens, and that she then tried to cover it up by hiding the server and the emails found in the server. It is not a surprise that Clinton is lawless, narcissistic, and cold, but it is only shocking that she is not in jail and still the likely Democratic candidate for president.
