Elizabeth Warren doesn’t need evidence to back up her claims, all she cares about is a compelling narrative. This week, in the aftermath of FBI Director James Comey’s firing, the Massachusetts Senator has settled her latest, fact-free attack against the Trump administration. Comey was fired, she said, because of the Russians.
The Democrats refuse to let the Trump/Russia collusion story die, despite denials on both ends and no evidence to suggest otherwise. Someone managed to ask Vladimir Putin about Comey’s firing shortly after the news broke. Putin said that he “had nothing to do with that.”
Just last week, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper claimed that there is still no evidence to suggest links between Russia and Trump.
But still, Warren refuses to let the story go.
This week, she tried to use the story to claim that Trump was stifiling investigations into his own administration.
