Edward Snowden: Hillary’s “Server” Excuses Ridiculous

On what Snowden revealed:

Snowden demurred from making an absolute statement about whether Clinton jeopardized national security. “What I can say is that when the unclassified systems of the United States government, which has a full-time information security staff, regularly gets hacked, the idea that someone keeping a private server in the renovated bathroom of a server farm in Colorado is more secure is completely ridiculous,” he declared.

As far as Snowden’s activities and his National Security Agency’s global surveillance expose that sparked calls to roll them back around the world, Mother Russia and Putin

seized on his revelations to justify unprecedented control over the internet — and expand the Kremlin’s surveillance state in the very manner he so feared.

Snowden sparked in Russia exactly what he feared in the US.   As far as Hillary is concerned, if the US government is routinely hacked, if Russia is and was scrambling to increase their surveillance state, (something she would have been privy to as Secretary of State as this started in Russia in 2011-13), the idea of having one or two servers in a converted bathroom in Colorado—that have classified information, is not only ridiculous, it might be said it borders on treason.  Maybe it would have just been easier to put up a huge neon IP address on the internet, directing enemies of the US to the internet location of the bathroom.

Hilary can act “as if nothing is wrong” all she wants on the campaign trail.  She is bombing as far as polls go to a guy named Bernie Sanders, who’s claim to fame is he is the first candidate to “admit” he is a “Socialist”.   He is not the first Socialist to run for the US Presidency—as we all know.
