Watch Richard Masten, executive director of Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers earn up to two weeks in jail for contempt of court after protecting an anonymous tipster rather than handing it to the judge as requested on Friday.
In Masten’s words, “We promise the people who give us information to solve murders, serious violent crimes in this community, that they can call with an assurance that they will remain anonymous and that nothing about them or their information would ever be compromised.”
“The case today started creeping into that … it’s not going to happen on my watch and I understood the consequences.”

Bravo Mr. Masten!
Good for him. The judge was an ass for asking this man to reveal his source.
What judges are doing now in a lot of places is illegal
Judges need more watchdog groups. Just more democrat asses on the bench dealing their own kind of pet justice.
Crime stoppers DO KNOW the number you call from with info. I know for a FACT they do….
Gotta love commitment .
THANK YOU SIR; IT’S NICE TO KNOW THEIR ARE SOME “HONEST” PEOPLE LEFT……………………………..

This web site certainly has all the information I needed about this subject and didn’t know who to ask.
