Donald Trump’s commencement address to the U.S. Coast Guard academy is drawing all of the attention Trump’s speaking events tend to provide. This time, it was his attack on the media that has people talking. “No politician in history… has been treated worse or more unfairly. You can’t let them get you down.”
“No politician in history… has been treated worse or more unfairly,” said the president. “You can’t let them get you down.”
“Over the course of your life, you will find that things are not always fair and that things happen to you that you do not deserve, and that are not always warranted, but you have to put your head down and fight, fight, fight”
Trump goes on to say that he wasn’t elected to “serve the Washington media.” He was elected to serve the American people, so he couldn’t care less what the press has to say.
