Someone should tell Don Lemon what the word “clearly” means. But it shouldn’t come as much surprise that he doesn’t know — his network has lacked clarity for months and their ratings prove it.
This week, on CNN Tonight, Lemon accused Trump of “giving oxygen to racists” and claimed that he “hasn’t denounced the alt right” in the aftermath of the Charlottesville riots — which is simply untrue.
But those accusations pale in comparison to what he said next, that Donald Trump is “clearly trying to ignite a civil war in this country.”
Yes, Lemon seems to think it’s “clear” that Trump is trying to start a literal war against the American people.
The only war that is actually happening seems to be the war CNN is waging against journalism in America.
