Does Private Information Exist in America Any More? The HHS Data Hub Risks All

President Obama is in a rush to activate his shiny new healthcare system on time, but the corners he is cutting to meet the deadline mean a chilling threat to privacy. The federal data hub required to implement the program and the thousands of minimally trained Health and Human Services (HHS) ‘navigators’ who have access to it mean just about anyone at all can potentially see your personal information. The government is in such a hurry to control American healthcare that ‘navigators’ do not even undergo a background check before being hired.
