DHS Sec Kelly Caught on Hot Mic with President Trump at Coast Guard Graduation Ceremony

President Trump and Department of Homeland Security Secretary, John Kelly, are decent fellows who support our troops, and have a sense of humor. They both attended the 2017 Coast Guard Class Commencement Ceremony. President Trump was the keynote speaker for the event, much to the appreciation of the graduating class. The Coast Guard Graduating Class of 2017 presented President Trump with a ceremonial saber sword as a “token of their appreciation” for him giving of his time to celebrate their accomplishments.

Secretary Kelly couldn’t resist a quip at the expense of the liberal media when he saw the sword joking to President Trump that he ought to “use that on the press, sir.”

Unlike his predecessor, President Trump is no pansy and knows both how to take a joke and give a good speech that encourages our service-members, not promote a fake global warming agenda.

“Look at the way I have been treated lately, especially by the media,” he said during the ceremony. “No politician in history, and I say this with great surety, has been treated worse and more unfairly. You can’t let them get you down, you can’t let the critics and the naysayers get in the way of your dreams.”

This stands in stark contrast to what the poor kids in the 2015 Coast Guard graduating class had to suffer through with Obama when he gave a notoriously dull long-winded speech on the potential threat of global warming provided they cooked the numbers or data just right.
