The Authorization for Use of Military Force passed by the Senate is a rewrite of the Constitution’s War Powers clause and grants the President broad authority to deploy ground troops almost everywhere in the world, including the United States. That’s the warning being voiced by Democratic Senator Chris Murphy in response to the AUMF bill proposed by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
The bill would grant the president overwhelming control over where the US forces are deployed, which is scary for two reasons. The first is the obvious threat to American citizens’ rights. If the military can be sent to an American city based on loose justifications, they could be used to impose martial law and even empower a police state that has already grown too powerful.
The second reason is the plain call back to Manifest Destiny. Americans do not want to police the world. If the European Union is too busy handling the migrant crisis and Russia has finally come to terms with the harsh economic reality that their country is on the brink of collapse, it would leave the United States to ensure the sovereignty of all democratic nations. A solution that nobody would want.

they all need to lose their jobs when you make it clear do your job or lose it they will do so or lose it and their needs to be laws set that no one can have but 3 ys in senator or congress , pay will be the same as teachers pay, and benefits no pensions. this was never to be a career job, that is how corruption sets in ..they begin to believe they can run it their way . we the people have the authority to stop it. we all need to make it known their days are numbered

This happens in August/September when I go see my family – it is over for this Government. Those I love die from all this happening in the United States, this Government will wish they didn’t do this. For I will go to the Media and slam bast this Government from here to eternity and start a War with what I’ll say. I’m ready, for you have threatened my family and other families lives to extremes in this Country – you have denied our happiness and our way of life here. And you damn followers can’t for the life of them see what you are doing – I laugh at them. You damn SOBS will see the anger of Americans in this Country and you will die also.
Can’t be scared folks….just be ready to defend our country if need be from all enemies foreign and domestic. That’s what the constitution says

And please don’t rely on the Military of this Country – they will do what they are told for they care less about Americans for they fear Obama for some reason. They have the power and might, but they fear this Government. They will never do anything for Americans – the only people that will – will be former Military or some Sheriffs. I don’t trust police or some sheriffs in this Country. From what I’ve been hearing in some States – some care less and are just as bad as Obama. Like the cop in Texas that said,” if Obama can’t get away with what he is doing – so can I.”
Truth from a Democrat. I believe The War Powers Act itself should be repealed. This will only add to the power of the Executive Branch what it should never have.
Ridiculous. Nations assure their own sovereignty only. Check the definition of sovereignty. Just silly. If you rely on another nation then you no longer are sovereign.
