Defiant Merkel Maintains Open-door Refugee Policy After Brutal Terrorist Attacks

Citizens in Germany and America should get a clue. Radical Islam is at war with the West. They have declared their objective to overcome and enslave or kill all “infidels,” which strangely includes all Muslims who do not happen to belong to the correct Muslim sect. But regardless of the nonsensical inter-tribal squabbles within the religion of peace and its efforts to kill about 4/5 of the world population, Merkel needs to come to grips with the real problem.

ISIS, Boko Haram, Al Shabaab, the Taliban, and all the other Islamic terror groups need to be recognized for what they are and exterminated. That is the real solution to Middle Eastern inhabitants fleeing their own countries. Merkel does not seem to get it, and furthermore seems inured to the damage and fear caused in her own country.

Chancellor Angela Merkel defended her leadership style on Thursday after she remained on vacation this week following Islamist attacks in Germany that critics have blamed on her open-door refugee policy.

Interrupting her holiday to hold a news conference, Merkel batted away questions about why she had not visited the scene of any of five attacks committed since July 18 that have left 15 people dead — including four attackers — and dozens injured.

“A decision has to be taken on this each time and perhaps some members of the public have a different view to the way I decided to do things,” she told a news conference, adding that she would attend a memorial ceremony on Sunday in Munich.

Munich was the scene of the bloodiest of the attacks, in which an 18-year-old German-Iranian gunman killed nine people. Merkel faced criticism on social media after failing to react until the next day, 17 hours after U.S. President Barack Obama.

“Angst cannot be the guide for political action,” Merkel said, setting out a nine-point plan to respond to the attacks, including measures to recruit more staff for security agencies, and an early warning system for the radicalisation of refugees.

“The terrorists want to make us lose sight of what is important to us, break down our cohesion and … our willingness take in people who are in need,” Merkel said.

“They sow hatred and fear between cultures and they sow hatred and fear between religions. We stand decisively against that.”

This is not leadership, it is taking a defensive posture while waiting for the next terrorist attack to occur. There is no hatred and fear between most religions, the murder and hatred is clearly coming from one main source, and it needs to be recognized, named, and dealt a death blow with the most devastating strike that is possible. Instead, leaders like Merkel denigrate the public for their fear and demands for protection. But it is they who pay the real price of unlimited immigration, while cold, distant leaders like Merkel continue to live above the violent chaos in peaceful serenity.
