David Attenborough: Humans are plague on Earth

These Lefties sound like a broken record. It does not matter that they are wrong time after time, or that world hunger has nothing to do with too many people, it has to do with distribution and power. There is an abundance of food in the world, but it cannot be distributed because the worlds tyrants, virtually all of them left or hard left leaning, will not let it happen. Not willing to let facts get in the way, Attenborough holds forth with typical Leftist nonsense:

The television presenter said that humans are threatening their own existence and that of other species by using up the world’s resources.

He said the only way to save the planet from famine and species extinction is to limit human population growth.

“We are a plague on the Earth. It’s coming home to roost over the next 50 years or so. It’s not just climate change; it’s sheer space, places to grow food for this enormous horde. Either we limit our population growth or the natural world will do it for us, and the natural world is doing it for us right now,” he told the Radio Times.

Sir David, who is a patron of the Population Matters, has spoken out before about the “frightening explosion in human numbers” and the need for investment in sex education and other voluntary means of limiting population in developing countries.

“We keep putting on programmes about famine in Ethiopia; that’s what’s happening. Too many people there. They can’t support themselves — and it’s not an inhuman thing to say. It’s the case. Until humanity manages to sort itself out and get a coordinated view about the planet it’s going to get worse and worse.”

He did not say the word abortion, but you can be sure that is one of the first options on the list for these Lefties who prefer less of us and more for them. The human species is endlessly creative and will find new ways to produce food, potable water, and manageable living spaces. Political interference such as Marxism, socialism or communism will get in the way, but overall there will be sufficient for our needs.
We also heard that the world would be out of oil by the year 1980 or so, and it turns out that we are now awash in oil, due to new technologies. Mankind wins again! No, we are not running out of resources. What we really need, however, is less of these arrogant elitists who never get it right and never admit that they are wrong.
