Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump woke up this morning to learn that five cops were killed and nearly a dozen were shot during a Black Lives Matter protest in Dallas, Texas. Of course, they took to social media to make their official statements, and their reactions could not be more different.
Clinton's response is exactly what we've come to expect from the pantsuit-clad panderer. It was short, non-specific, and lacked any sort of call to action against those who committed and perpetuated the shootings. Considering Black Lives Matter is among the groups Clinton is attempting to court, this comes as little surprise.
Trump, on the other hand, used his response as a platform to push for a greater sense of law and order, and admonished the attack far more forcefully than Clinton.
