It is amazing to watch some news broadcasts of CNN, MSNBC, regular old NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, and even Fox News and realize that these people appear to be completely in the dark about what is really going on out there in the real world.
But if you believed that, you would be totally wrong.
The Fake News Industrial Complex (FNIC) does not exist to bring you the news. It does not exist to relay information. It is not even there to present a public service.
The FNIC is there for one objective and that is to make money…just like any other capitalist venture, right?
Take Chris Cuomo, for instance. He was on his show with political commentator, Ben Ferguson, and got into a real fiery debate about this clash of cultures in Charlottesville, Virginia that ended up turning violent. Then, Cuomo said this:
“But I don’t even see the extremes on both ends. Even if you take this AntiFA [Anti-First Amendment] people at their worst, if you take Anarchists at their worst…do you have malefactor, do you have criminals in their ranks, do you have people who do violent things? Yes, yes, yes, yes. That is not a moral equivalency to the KKK, Ben. That’s all they’re about is hate. Two out of the three people on this panel, they don’t want to exist! You know, that’s different than having a group, whether it’s Black Lives Matter or any other symbol that the Right wants to throw up as this new alt-Left which, you know, I think is a manufactured term, it’s certainly not an equivalent to what we see on the Right. Just look at the stats. The number one domestic terror threat in the United States is the extreme Right.”
We’ll get into the substance of what he actually said here in a moment. But you need to ask yourself: Was this done to make money for the network?
WHAT IS THE LEFTIST BRAND OF FAKE NEWS REALLY ALL ABOUT?
If they’re not about news (actual, real, honest news, I mean), not about relaying information, and not about presenting a public service, then they must be about money, right?
CNN doesn’t really care what you think about their programming. For that matter, nor do any of the others. If they did REALLY, HONESTLY care about what you thought, is there any chance that they would still be presenting this ultra-Leftist point-of-view and losing ratings?
Think about that for a moment. They know that they are losing viewership. They know that their alt-Left message does not resonate with the American people. They know that they are presenting an alternate take on societal interests that isn’t what the majority of the population believes. YET, THEY CONTINUE TO DO SO, DESPITE LOSING MASSIVE VIEWERSHIP AND MONEY.
So, what’s the answer? Any responsible business, there to make money, that sees a path to making money simply by virtue of tweaking the message, making a few changes to its programming, and getting on the other bandwagon…well, that would seem to be the likely way to go, right? It would be inexplicable to do anything else, from a business perspective.
And therein lies your answer.
If a business is losing money, identifies the problem, sees the solution, but instead of changing course and grabbing that opportunity to make money, chooses to continue on the same course, there is only one answer. They have an agenda; a deep-seated ideology that is so embedded that, in order for it to be removed, the entire world view of this company would have to be altered!
That is not news. That is not journalism. Neither is that business. What is it then?
One word: ACTIVISM
The so-called “news” on all networks that is making decisions to protect the Leftist Establishment by all means necessary is a pure practice in activism.
CHRIS CUOMO’S ASININE ASSERTIONS BASED IN FANTASY
Now, back to Cuomo’s statement. He claims that he can’t see extremism on both sides. Let’s help him out with that, shall we? Here are just a few examples of the extremism on the alt-Left (you know, the one he thinks is just a manufactured term. Not like that alt-Right meme that they came up with. Now that’s quality journalism there!)
And how about that little dig about “Two out of three people on this panel, they don’t want to exist!” That is such an insult to Ben Ferguson and he either brushed it off or he just didn’t hear it through all the BS. But that’s like saying, “Hey Ben, two out of three people on this panel don’t want to lynch Black people…what about you?”
But down to the real statement of disbelief here:
“The number one domestic terror threat in the United States is the extreme Right!”
This one kinda threw me for a loop. He intones right beforehand, “Just look at the stats!” So, you know how we operate here at Truth and Action. I looked at the stats, just like Cuomo said to do (but really hoped we wouldn’t).
Out of the top 50 Domestic Terror suspects being sought…TODAY…by the FBI:
- 35 are Muslim involved in Islamic Jihad terror
- 3 are South or Central American involved in drug cartels
- 1 for armed robbery back in 1981
- 1 is an extremist animal rights vegan activist who has bombed factories
- 1 is an arsonist who worked for Earth Liberation Front (ELF) and Animal Liberation Front (ALF)
- 1 is a Black Panthers member who hijacked a plane using a bomb
- 2 are May 19th Communist Organization members advocating the violent overthrow of the US government and anti-apartheid activists (1 of which blinded a New York Port Authority worker with acid)
- 1 is a member of the Black Liberation Army who killed 2 state troopers in New Jersey at point-blank range, execution style
- 1 is an anti-war protester from 1970s who bombed the University of Wisconsin-Madison Sterling Hall
- 1 is a Cuban National for a plane hijacking
- 2 are members of the French Canadian Separatist Movement who were involved in bombings and hijacking of a plane to Cuba
- 1 is a murderer and hijacker of a plane to Algiers.
Hold on, wait a damned minute! Where’s Chris Cuomo? Let him know that I don’t see…nope! I don’t see a single one of the extreme Right terrorists on this list…the TOP 50! What the heck is going on? And this is directly from the FBI website!
Now, to be fair, looking at the list and seeing the vast majority of the terrorist being Muslim, could we then conclude that perhaps…just perhaps, Mr. Cuomo…perhaps extreme Right-wing groups are NOT the number one domestic terror threat in the United States? Is it possible that [GASP!] Muslim Islamic terrorists are the number one domestic terror threat in the US?
THE FNIC SELECTIVE GATHERING OF FACTS
We all are aware of the ability to cherry pick statistics. And let me be clear. When Barack Hussein Obama…that bastion of Christian faith…when he was president, the number one domestic terror threat, according to the FBI, was Right-wing extremism. In fact, all Top 50 were Right-wing extremists. And let me tell you, the criteria was brutal. They had these dangerous Right-wingers down to a profile that was just…scary!
As a matter of fact, I, myself, and my wife (and I’m pretty sure my kids) were all on that domestic Right-wing terror list. So were most of my friends, my entire family, and my co-workers. Here was some of the criteria: 1) You own a Bible, 2) You own a gun, 3) You believe in smaller government, 4) You display a Gadsden flag, 5) You display an American flag, 6) You advocate for the Constitution, 7) You live in the suburbs, 8) You vote Tea Party or Conservative, 9) You listen to Rush Limbaugh, 10) You believe in prepping or self-sustainability
Let me show you that ACTUAL source material for Cuomo’s ridiculous statement about the extreme Right. Here is the headline: “The Growing Right-Wing Terror Threat” This is a New York Times article from June of 2015 and highlights exactly what Cuomo refers to and also epitomizes the terror-stance policies of the Obama administration (i.e., all White Christians are extreme Right-wing domestic terrorists).
Sorry to throw Holy water on your Fake News fire, Chris, but you cannot possibly be given anything but 5 Pinocchios for that performance.
