Cruz Claims Trump wants Riots in Parting Shot, Ignores Liberal Violence

This notion of a riot breaking out in Cleveland is nothing new but it should be understood that if a riot does happen, it isn’t Donald Trumps doing.

From Breitbart:

Host John Dickerson asked Cruz on CBS’s Sunday morning program whether he is able to “overthrow” Trump at the Republican National nominating convention in Cleveland. “In a situation of delegates over people, won’t that lead to riots?”

Cruz called the use of the word “overthrow” a “loaded spin word” after stating, “No, it won’t, although Donald may do everything he can to encourage riots.”

In mid-March, Trump said, “I think we’ll win before getting to the convention, but I can tell you, if we didn’t and if we’re 20 votes short or if we’re 100 short and we’re at 1,100 and somebody else is at 500 or 400, because we’re way ahead of everybody, I don’t think you can say that we don’t get it automatically. I think it would be — I think you’d have riots. I think you’d have riots.”

Donald Trump was right to point this out when he did. If a riot does happen, it’s because the voters are so tired of liars and cheats ruling their party and their nation that they will feel they have nothing to lose once their power to vote is thwarted.

It’s true that a swiping of the nomination from Trump could follow some complex procedural rules but the public will not see it that way.

They see it as the D.C. powers dictating to us who we will get to vote for and not the voters deciding.

If there are riots in Cleveland, it won’t be Trump’s fault. It will be Washington’s.
