The restaurant Sneakers Bistro in Local Winooski, Vermont has removed a sign that had the word ‘bacon’ due to Muslim opposition.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant issued the following statement, ““We are here to serve people BREAKFAST, not politics. We removed the sign that was located on public property as a gesture of respect for our diverse community. There were also concerns raised about safety (emphasis added). Removing it was not a difficult decision. We still love bacon. We still love eggs. Please have the political conversation elsewhere.”
Is the ‘safety’ factor the restaurant cited due to their fear of what would happen if they didn’t remove ‘bacon’ from their sign?
I would have made the sign bigger and bolder!!!!
As Americans we eat what we want. If you don’t like it you just don’t order it Damn this America Not a Muslim country. Wake Up America Please!!!

Why on earth would an American restaurant owner remove bacon…been serving it for years, to hell with them, let them eat somewhere else…Dammit this is America, LOve it or leave it.
