The restaurant Sneakers Bistro in Local Winooski, Vermont has removed a sign that had the word ‘bacon’ due to Muslim opposition.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant issued the following statement, ““We are here to serve people BREAKFAST, not politics. We removed the sign that was located on public property as a gesture of respect for our diverse community. There were also concerns raised about safety (emphasis added). Removing it was not a difficult decision. We still love bacon. We still love eggs. Please have the political conversation elsewhere.”
Is the ‘safety’ factor the restaurant cited due to their fear of what would happen if they didn’t remove ‘bacon’ from their sign?
Please put it back on!

i find it incomprehensible that you would bow to the few muslims that live in the USA, you still serve bacon in your restaurant and they probably don’t come into your place of business anyway, i think you should put the sign back up in the window pointing to the street instead of on the “public” post unless of course the post is actually on your property
