The restaurant Sneakers Bistro in Local Winooski, Vermont has removed a sign that had the word ‘bacon’ due to Muslim opposition.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant issued the following statement, ““We are here to serve people BREAKFAST, not politics. We removed the sign that was located on public property as a gesture of respect for our diverse community. There were also concerns raised about safety (emphasis added). Removing it was not a difficult decision. We still love bacon. We still love eggs. Please have the political conversation elsewhere.”
Is the ‘safety’ factor the restaurant cited due to their fear of what would happen if they didn’t remove ‘bacon’ from their sign?
UNBELIEVABLE that this business is so weak … they should be SPECIALIZING in bacon … hot dogs … pork chops … ALL OF THAT. They also need to get their tails out from between their legs.

They have no right to tell you what to do, tell them to go back where they came from.

If the lady that complained was my neighbor, I would cook bacon for every meal every day. If she didn’t like the smell of bacon, she could move.
