The restaurant Sneakers Bistro in Local Winooski, Vermont has removed a sign that had the word ‘bacon’ due to Muslim opposition.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant issued the following statement, ““We are here to serve people BREAKFAST, not politics. We removed the sign that was located on public property as a gesture of respect for our diverse community. There were also concerns raised about safety (emphasis added). Removing it was not a difficult decision. We still love bacon. We still love eggs. Please have the political conversation elsewhere.”
Is the ‘safety’ factor the restaurant cited due to their fear of what would happen if they didn’t remove ‘bacon’ from their sign?
When did this religion creep into the United States Businesses? Where and Why is this BS going on. We have a lot more religions in the US. I say this Vermont Restaurant Owner is showing pure Stupidity and if he did it for the Muslims, let them eat there and all the rest of us can eat elsewhere. Put him out of business, if he is coddling these cretens.
