The restaurant Sneakers Bistro in Local Winooski, Vermont has removed a sign that had the word ‘bacon’ due to Muslim opposition.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant issued the following statement, ““We are here to serve people BREAKFAST, not politics. We removed the sign that was located on public property as a gesture of respect for our diverse community. There were also concerns raised about safety (emphasis added). Removing it was not a difficult decision. We still love bacon. We still love eggs. Please have the political conversation elsewhere.”
Is the ‘safety’ factor the restaurant cited due to their fear of what would happen if they didn’t remove ‘bacon’ from their sign?

How about giving Christians the same rights as Muslims, Atheists, and people of the same sex wanting to get married, its very lopsided.

please put bacon back on yr sign!!! we have to keep what we Americans do. they do not care if we get offended. but we have to bowel to them!! the hell with that. please stand up for our American rights. keep the American flag flying use the words that we want to use as long as we aren’t nasty words. if we unite and stand firm and not let these people push us around and take our American ways from us,. most of all stand firm for our right to worship the way we are lead to,.
