The restaurant Sneakers Bistro in Local Winooski, Vermont has removed a sign that had the word ‘bacon’ due to Muslim opposition.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant issued the following statement, ““We are here to serve people BREAKFAST, not politics. We removed the sign that was located on public property as a gesture of respect for our diverse community. There were also concerns raised about safety (emphasis added). Removing it was not a difficult decision. We still love bacon. We still love eggs. Please have the political conversation elsewhere.”
Is the ‘safety’ factor the restaurant cited due to their fear of what would happen if they didn’t remove ‘bacon’ from their sign?

bull I order bacon on every dish I go out to eat or I ask for it so far none of the local restaurants are caving into this even though we do have a muslim compound 10 miles from here if I hear of one i’ll make an issue and walk out and let everyone of my friends neighbors and face book friends about it and post it numerous times
