The restaurant Sneakers Bistro in Local Winooski, Vermont has removed a sign that had the word ‘bacon’ due to Muslim opposition.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant issued the following statement, ““We are here to serve people BREAKFAST, not politics. We removed the sign that was located on public property as a gesture of respect for our diverse community. There were also concerns raised about safety (emphasis added). Removing it was not a difficult decision. We still love bacon. We still love eggs. Please have the political conversation elsewhere.”
Is the ‘safety’ factor the restaurant cited due to their fear of what would happen if they didn’t remove ‘bacon’ from their sign?

I agree. Boy Cot .This is America. If the muslims don’t like the bacon or any other food from hogs they should go back to there country and quit trying to change ours. There is way to much giving in to other cultures.
