Gun owners have to be extra careful these days to avoid not only incurring the wrath of overzealous law enforcement but playing into the hands of the anti-gun crowd as well.
Case in point is Guo Shou, a Queens man who was taken into police custody after authorities exercised a warrant to search his apartment and found a massive arsenal in it. What they found was enough weapons and ammo to “take on a small army”, per Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.
Among his inventory were 14 legally-obtained handguns, 2 licensed and loaded shotguns, 1 licensed rifle and around 45,000 rounds of ammo for any number of weapons. He was also found to be in possession of parts that could be assembled into an AR-10 or AR-15 assault rifle as well as several pieces of Kevlar body armor.
While all of Shou’s equipment was legally acquired, police claimed that he failed to store it properly, thus necessitating his arrest.

You can never have to much ammo or water. So praise the liars and pass the ammunition
I do question the firearms and ammo not being secured but once that condition is met then return to owner
That moron watches too many action movies. He probably thinks a car will blow up if you shoot it in the gas tank.Mommy I can’t sleep because I think there is a gun in my closet.
Like I have said before, how many of you law abiding citizens are going to be willing to shoot the$#%&!@*out of the police when the government tells them to come take your guns and how may of you cops are going to go take the guns when you know it is illegal, trust me I will shoot your$#%&!@*if you come after mine.
Thats just wrong!!
There is plenty of crime in the streets to keep cops busy. This ammo was acquired legally and the cops choose to bust him on a technicality, while thugs are running rampart with illegal guns in every city in the country and they don’t seem to go after them with the same zeal….
Cops are just following the law. It is the lawmakers who need to be changed.
No such thing, maybe the police in this town should have to have one bullet in their pocket.
The guy was probably buying ammo as an investment. Are you telling me that people in this country can sell marijuana in states that don’t enforce federal law, but they can’t buy ammo as an investment ?
