It is becoming routine for police in some states to collect the DNA of people at random. Referred to as “stop and spit,” the practice involves swabbing the inside of someone’s mouth then sending off the sample for analysis. The results are then stored in a database.
It’s put forth as a way of potentially reducing crime. Of course, is a complete violation of the Fourth Amendment’s protection against unlawful searches. The old Marxist propaganda of giving up one’s freedom for security is a tried and true method of collapsing a free society under despotic rule.
Take a look at the further erosion of our Contitutional rights on the next page:

So what happened to our rights?
Don’t worry, they’ll be there!
But only to accuse cops of profiling when minorities complain!
uh,, that’s IS illegal search and seizure… I will be damned if I submit.
DNA is simple and positive. They do not need blood.
ask for their credencials to do so 😀
Dana Kerr Random blood tests can detect alcohol and drugs. Cheek swab cannot. I don’t want drunks on the roads, but the DUI thing has morphed into a multi-billion-dollar industry, so there’s plenty of financial motivation to get as many convictions as possible.
