Jamal Jones, his girlfriend Lisa Mahone, and their two children, 14 and 7, were going to a hospital to visit Lisa’s dying mother.
Cops stopped them who state that they pulled the family over because Mahone was not wearing her seat belt. After she showed her ID and insurance they asked for Jamal’s ID, who was the passenger.
Shortly after he stated he didn’t have it due to receiving a ticket, cops asked that he get out of the vehicle, which he refused to do.

SEE 4th. Amendment “…particularly describing…”
doesn’t matter what the Supreme Court says matters what the Constitution says no matter how many times you try to twist it those words were written by men that did not just dream this up on a whim they spent agonizing hours and days making sure it was worded properly where it could never be misconstrued. I don’t care what these guys keep trying to do the twist it it is not right.
why was he under arrest? for not having id? he simply didn’t have id, unless someone else knows that there in fact was id with this man. and don’t say because he wasn’t wearing his seatbelt, because never in anyone’s lifetime has there been an arrest for no seatbelt. maybe they (the driver) were pulled over for not having a seatbelt and also had a warrant or a suspended license, ok, go ahead arrest away. But the passenger? This does not equate to what they did, pointless.
A decision that just came out this past week: 7 for and 1 against. What is means is: A cop is always right. There won’t be any curbside court, it will be in the court room.
It is called a pretextual stop and a tax. The cops can expand the scope of the stop with something less than probable cause. It looked like mostly drama to me.
Somebody got a lawsuit coming and fired.
You people are butt tards. If a cop wants to see your ID you better show it to him morron.
How stupid can you get? If a cop asks for your ID you best show it to him. Thats the law morron. They do this chit at traffic stops to see if anyone in the vehicle has a warrent. It’s a good thing.
I’m a retired cop after 38 years wearing a badge. Therefore, I didn’t empower the Supreme Court nor any other Judge. I just enforced the laws on the books, not interpret them. I can tell you from experience, argue with a cop on the street, even if you think you are in the right, you will pay dearly. Not physically, but with your wallet. If a violator escalates the problem, the cop will not back down. Someone has to be in charge or take charge and that will not be the violator. Prove your case in court. I’ve lost traffic cases in court, no big deal. But the violator did it the right way, he pleaded not guilty and the judge made the ruling.
