Ted Cruz’s citizenship continues to be a topic of discussion in the 2016 race, and it seems its one issue in which the far-left and the far-right might agree.
At the heart of the issue is the definition of “natural born citizen.” While many consider that to mean that one must be born inside of the country in order to serve in the Oval Office, others claim that one is natural born if you have citizenship at birth. The latter theory is backed up somewhat by the nominations of both John McCain and George Romney, both of which were born outside of this country’s borders.
However, since neither man made it to the White House, no Supreme Court case has ever been brought forth that specifically tackled the issue. As such, both sides continue to wage a war of opinion.
You can find the interview on the next page:

So if you’re mother is a US citizen at the time of your birth but your father isn’t you’re not eligible to be president.
In 2008 it didn’t matter.
OH BUT HE SAYS HIS MOTHER IS
It’ll be funny to watch the liberals go ‘birther’ #liberalhypocrisy
Obama was Born from non-citizen father
That is sexist! Pretty much saying a Women in the Military who gives birth to a child while serving “say Germany ” there child can’t become the President.
Not only was Odumber born in Kenya, his father…whoever he is ….wasn’t a citizen either. No wonder he had his records sealed.
If Obama was fathered by a African ,not an American then he is an illegal president.
They can not say he can not run it would invalidate Obamas presidency and they won’t let that happen
This “Constitutional Scholar” is an idiot. Is his name Donald Duck..?? As long as the father has resided at some time in the U.S…and Cruz’s father held an American Green Card….Cruz is an Citizen.
This is a lie. As long as the person running for president is a U.S citizen and 35yrs of age is allowed to run for president.
