At last week’s marathon press conference, Donald Trump surprised conservatives and liberals alike with an answer about illegal immigration.
When asked how he planned to proceed with DACA — the program that provides legal status to minors who were brought into the country illegally — the president said: “To me, it’s one of the most difficult subjects I have because you have these incredible kids — in many cases, not in all cases. In some of the cases, they’re having DACA and they’re gang members and they’re drug members, too. But you have some absolutely incredible kids — I would say mostly — they were brought in here in such a way. It’s a very, very tough subject.” Ultimately, he said he would deal with their situation “with heart.”
Despite the fairly moderate answer, liberals quickly seized onto Trump’s use of the word “gang members” and ignored the fact that he said most of the kids were “absolutely incredible.”

The best thing these Congressmen could do for their people is to help them become citizens. Those illegals who commit crimes must be deported. Those who choose not to become US citizens need to go also.

Even if most of them are not gang members or drug dealers and are just looking for a better way of life. If they are here illegally they are breaking our laws taking government hand outs. They are criminals breaking the law. The welfare rewards them. If we don’t feed and house them how much money would we save. Enough to build that wall every year probably. I don’t have a problem with Hispanic people I like them and their food is wonderful. But let’s be honest and migrate to America the right way.
Well then why are you trying to protect the criminals? Buddies?
