People have good reason to already be experiencing “Clinton fatigue” before Hillary even wins the presidency, let alone takes office. After all, she had those years as secretary of state to practice her signature brand of corruption in concert with her husband, and the foundation that bears their name. Add that to the email scandal and heaven knows what other wrongdoing, and the magnitude of all of this malfeasance just gets overwhelming.
Undeterred by inconvenient laws and concepts such as ethics, Hillary raised funds for the Clinton Foundation through influence-peddling in places such as Haiti as seen below:
By 2012, Sae-A Trading Company, a South Korean clothing manufacture, had become the flagship tenant in a much-celebrated Haitian industrial park. Both Bill and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton attended the factory’s ribbon-cutting ceremony.
“A single building was not here a year ago, and now more than a thousand Haitians are coming to work,” Hillary Clinton said at the ceremony, according to ABC News. “This is something that is remarkable.”
Hillary Clinton’s former chief of staff, Cheryl Mills, according to the New York Times, played a prominent roll in bringing Sae-A to Haiti.
Sound like a great success for the Clinton Foundation, right? Dig deeper.
An ABC News investigation shows that after opening its factory in Haiti, Sae-A donated between $50,000 and $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation.
The chairman of Sae-A, Woong-Ki Kim, also invested in a startup company, BlackIvy Group, owned by Hillary Clinton’s former chief of staff Cheryl Mills.
The familiar “pay-to-play” pattern emerges once again.
The revelations are among the latest examples of the sordid connections and transactions between the global nexus of Clinton Foundation donors and the favorable treatment they received and the shady deal-making during Hillary Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state.
With no apparent limit to the depths of corruption Hillary Clinton will go to enrich herself and accomplish her goals, these criminal actions while secretary of state can only rightly been seen as a preview of what a Clinton administration would look like. It would be ridiculous to think she would place the interests of the people of the nation she wishes to lead above her own selfish obsession with riches and power.
Hopefully, Americans will never have an opportunity to validate that belief.
