Rather than accept military-grade equipment for their police department’s arsenal, Police Chief Brandon del Pozo told local television reporters that “Amassing a worst-case scenario arsenal of military equipment results in officers seeing everyday policework through a military lens.”
Considering the proliferation of military-grade technologies and weapons throughout the country’s police departments, the Burlington PD just took a real stand against tyranny.
