The small town of Nucla, Colorado, with a population of 750, passed the state’s first and only municipal ordinance in 2014 requiring heads of households to own guns and ammo, “in order to provide for and protect the safety, security and general welfare of the town and its inhabitants.”
“We more or less kind of wanted to give criminals a heads up. Stay out of this town. We’re armed,” stated board member Richard Craig.
Move on to the next page:
Warning! There armed and there DANGEROUS!!!!!
Who is? Someone who is armed isn’t necessarily dangerous. I’ve been carrying some kind of gun or weapon since 1977 and have never hurt a soul with one. Don’t want to either. Sorry if I misunderstood.
Hell Yeah!!!
should be done nationwide
I’m not sure but I think Morton Grove ill. was the 1st to do this back in the 70’s
I know where I want to move
No it was Kennesaw Ga, Morton Grove did the opposite.
if only more cities and states would adopt this law
@Jake Lucas – 1. It was voted on. Obummercare wasn’t 2. I seriously doubt anyone had to purchase anything. It is Colorado. Everyone carries in Colorado.
nothing wrong with every household owning a gun n ammo for protection, n everything wrong with obamacare’s protection……..
nobody would be forcing them to buy anything unlike health insurance.if u didn’t want a gun just move to someplace like $#%&!@*cargo,d.c. or n.y.c. they will never make it law.
