The media has, since the very beginning, been predicting the fall of Trump. As candidates, media, and D.C. politicians all ganged up on the real estate mogul, many thought the so-called “Trump slump” was unavoidable.
Finally, after staying relatively stable for months, Trump is finally showing some movement in the polls, but not in the direction that many expected.
If a recent poll conducted by CNN is to be believed, Donald is now up 9 points, and commands a healthy 20 point lead over 2nd place finisher Texas Senator Ted Cruz.
This puts Trump’s overall numbers at an astoundingly high 36%, twelve times the 3% support once-media favorite Jeb Bush received in the poll.
All of this in spite of constant attacks, condemnations, and ridicule from the mainstream media. It seems a plurality of voters are taking it with a grain of salt. While he continues to dominate, it may be time for the GOP to accept who may be their next nominee, Donald Trump.
