CNN “acted like the Mafia”, Attempts to Get Dr. Drew to Retract His Comments on Hillary’s Health

Dr. Drew, the popular host of a medical program on CNN’s affiliate, HLN, lost his show after he opined that Mrs. Clinton is ill and receiving poor treatment.  Now that might seem like a very reasonable topic for a medical doctor to discuss. But CNN is not going to tolerate the dissemination of information, regardless of how credible, that casts doubt on its candidate’s fitness to serve as president.

That Hillary is that candidate is obvious.  The question is whether Dr. Drew’s revelations are the cause of his dismissal from CNN.  If they aren’t, it sure seems like a remarkable coincidence, doesn’t’ it?

“Dr. Drew” was canceled eight days after Pinsky discussed Clinton’s health on a radio show, saying he was “gravely concerned not just about her health, but her health care.”

“CNN is so supportive of Clinton, network honchos acted like the Mafia when confronting Drew,” a source told me. “First, they demanded he retract his comments, but he wouldn’t.”

Apparently, Dr. Drew is so afraid of the CNN “Mafia” that, while he won’t retract his comments about Hillary’s health, he is willing to attempt to exonerate CNN from any implication that his comments and the termination of his show are connected.

“I know the timing is suspicious, and I know it’s hard to believe, but the two things had nothing to do with each other,” Pinsky’s rep Valerie Allen told me.

Yes, it is hard to believe.  And it’s much easier to accept the good doctor’s medical opinions than his statements about the purity of CNN’s motives and actions.
