Clinton: one big happy lie

The Observer.com notes this great comment –

Nick Merrill, a Clinton press secretary is a prime example of the growing nose effect: “She did not send nor receive any emails that were marked classified at the time. We want to ensure that appropriate procedures are followed as these emails are reviewed while not unduly delaying the release of her emails. We want that to happen as quickly and as transparently as possible.”

Of course, when offering these comments, they neglect to note that the statement has already been proven false via an Inspector General’s introductory inspection 40 or so emails Ms. Clinton disdainfully managed to offer up in paper form only. They contained classified information and were handled in violation of law. However, the server and thumb drive remain elusive, as apparently does prison time, when all should items to consider and on the table right now.

Read the Observer article here.

That old saw that “people don’t hide things unless they have something to hide” is perfectly framed here. These are public records. Hillary should be in jail, now. This double standard is horrendous considering her utter contempt for the law and national security.

Everyone knew from the email address alone that she was outside the government system. Why is it that the American public can’t find out what the Chinese and Russians and half a dozen other countries undoubtedly know. Those who know her email gaffs and are covering it up are a who’s who in politics: President Obama, White House Counsel, White House high level staff, all Cabinet members, the Attorney General, and powerful Democrat members of Congress. It’s imperative that the Rule of Law take precedence here, but it continues to be a puppet show.
