After a Black Lives Matter protest in Dallas ended with five dead cops in the field, Barack Obama accepted an invitation to speak at the slain officers’ memorial. To many, it finally looked as if Obama was going to condemn the movement’s harsh rhetoric against the police. Instead, what we saw was Obama doubling down on his support for the protestors in the least appropriate place imaginable.
This week, three more officers were killed, this time in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Four more were injured.
Now, members of police forces around the country are finally standing up to the president for the violence he and Black Lives Matter have collectively incited — and they’re not holding back.
