The incident becomes more bizarre as the police officer, escalates the situation.
The officer then proceeds to draw his cell phone and bizarrely begins to film McComas.
“He thinks he’s being funny now,” McComas comments.
“Go ahead and take your hand out of your pocket,” the unidentified officer upon exiting the cruiser orders McComas, who refuses saying, “No sir I’ve done absolutely nothing. No.”
The incident takes a serious turn when the officer removes his sidearm from his holster and begins approaching McComas menacingly.
The officer asks McComas prior to leaving, if he is “some kind of constitutionalist, or a crazy?” It certainly seems that the officer is acting the part of “crazy”. The escalated situation, fortunately ends peacefully with the officer returning to his squad car and leaving.
The video has created much public indignation and activist groups are calling for police accountability due to the neglect of “common decency and rule of law.”
Mayor Amy Ahanotu and City Manager Darrin Jenkins of Rohnert Park issued a statement that they are conducting an internal review to be certain proper protocols were followed.

What was the officer stoping him for? Filming? That was an unjust stop, no matter how stupid the guy filming was.
Hope this guy has no kids. Don’t challenge officers on the street. Comply then go to the station to discuss your concerns. No need to be a butt all the time.
