China Sends Message to Trump with Nuclear Bomber

Although liberals have wasted no time feigning shock and outrage that Donald Trump dared to answer a congratulatory call from the Taiwanese president, their reaction was nothing compared to that of the People’s Republic of China. Offended that the incoming White House occupant acknowledged the existence of the tiny island off its coast, China ordered a nuclear bomber to fly over the South China Sea, a clear message of intimidation directed to the US:

China flew a nuclear-capable bomber over the South China Sea to send a message to President-elect Donald Trump, Fox News reported early Monday.

Two U.S. officials told Fox News the Chinese H-6 bomber flew above the South China Sea and several disputed islands last Thursday.

The response comes after Trump spoke with Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen, which broke decades of U.S. protocol. Trump’s call was the first by a U.S. president or president-elect since 1979, when the two countries severed diplomatic ties.

The flight was the first of its kind since March 2015, though other shorter flights have occurred since, officials told Fox News.

The Pentagon was reportedly alerted about the flight on Friday.
