China Prepares Navy to Carry Out ‘Act of War’, Send Warships to U.S. Coastline

A top official in Beijing has warned that China will give the US “a taste of its own medicine” by sending warships within 12 miles of the United States Coastline. China reacted angrily to the presence of a US Navy Destroyer entering the disputed waters 12 nautical miles of Meiji Reef, condemning Washington’s “bullying” and vowed to give the United States “a taste of its own medicine”.

Investigative journalist Ben Swann told RT: “A US Navy Destroyer passed within 12 miles of an artificial Chinese island in the South China Sea.

“China has referred to this action as a naked provocation.

“Now the push in China is to give an exact response, for China to send within 12 miles of US bases as well as US allies – which would likely be viewed as an act of war.”

He pointed to Yang Jiechi, the central foreign affairs commission director, who said: “Only by making the US have a taste of its own medicine can we touch the nerves of the US and its allies.

“We will reshape the western world’s understanding of the US bullying in the South China Sea.”

On Thursday, Joe Biden and his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, engaged in their first phone call for seven months.

The two leaders reiterated their shared responsibility to ensure that rivalry does not “veer into conflict”.
