With a series of major computer hacks on government agencies and U.S. health-care companies, China has built massive databases containing personal information of millions of American citizens.
These hacks obtained data that date back to 1985 and included security clearance information and background checks of millions of federal employees. The attack is one of the largest known cyber attacks on federal networks.
