Chelsea Clinton — with some help from J.K. Rowling — got busted for spreading fake news about Donald Trump this week.
The smear, which originated from Rowling, suggested that Donald Trump refused to shake the hand or acknowledge a young disabled boy at one of his events. Rowling claimed that Trump thought he might catch the child’s disease. Like the rest of Rowling’s work, the piece was pure fiction.
Despite this — and despite obvious proof that Trump did not ignore the boy — Clinton shared Rowling’s twitter rant on social media. Now, she’s been forced to apologize.
