A caravan of tanks was spotted this week in Atlanta, GA. This sighting comes on the heels of UN armored trucks also seen in Georgia just days ago.
Does anyone have any information about what types of tanks these are or what they could be doing moving in such large numbers in Atlanta?
This is one of those ‘could be nothing , could be everything’ types of things. It’s important that we stay alert and communicate, of course.
Booooo!!!!
These movements are commonplace. The tanks could be going to or from Anniston Army Depot (100 miles west of Atlanta) for refurbishment or they could be going to the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, CA. The Army also just moved the Armor Training Center from Fort Knox, KY to Fort Benning, GA which is near Atlanta. Military vehicles in transit are not indicative of sinister purposes. It is more cost effective to move heavy vehicles by rail in large numbers than by truck one at a time.
Those are M1 tanks, we moved ours by rail all the time, cheaper than driving lol. Nothing new, They are painted dessert camo, city people need not worry lol
Truth an Action is nothing more than a right wing chicken little…. Hmm, two wars coming to an end and you don’t think you might see some of our equipment coming back home? Get a life!
These things are always poorly documented. Instead of saying seen this week, how about an actual date and exact location. The same normal military equipment movements come around over and over, just to stir the unrest. Let us know if they start blocking the interstate or start shooting at people.
they are probably on there way to be rebuild in Alabama
They are NOT UN. Enlarge them and see for yourself.
Moving in Oklahoma
M1A1 ABRAMS…
Well ft. Benning is close enough to Atlanta so im sure they are on there way there, because Armor AIT is supposed to be going there now from what ive been hearing.
